FAQs
Q1. How do I set up Wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto?

A: It’s practically plug-and-play!

For Wireless: Turn on Bluetooth on bothyour phone and the head unit. Pair them (default PIN: 0000). Open the built-in "Z-Link" app on the stereo, follow the prompt on your phone to allow access, and you're good to go.

For Wired: Simply plug your phone into the 6-pin USB port using your original factory charging cable and open the "Z-Link" app.

Q2. Can I mirror my phone screen to the stereo display?

A: Yes! You can mirror YouTube, TikTok, or other apps using the "Z-Link" app (for wired mirroring via the 6-pin USB) or wirelessly.

iPhone users: Connect the stereo to your phone's personal hotspot and use iOS Screen Mirroring (AirPlay).

Android users: Download the "Z-link" app on the stereo, connect via Bluetooth and hotspot, and enable mirroring.

Q3. Will this stereo fit my car right out of the box?

A: This is a standard Double DIN head unit. Depending on your specific make and model—whether it's a Toyota, Ford, Dodge, or another brand—you may need to purchase an additional vehicle-specific dash kit (fascia) and a wiring harness adapter to ensure a seamless, factory-look installation.

Q4. Will my factory steering wheel controls (SWC) still work?

A: Yes. If your installation harness includes a Canbus decoder box, your SWC will work automatically once you select your vehicle model in the factory settings. If your car doesn't use Canbus, simply connect the analog SWC wires (Key 1/Key 2) and map the buttons using the stereo's built-in "SWC Learning" app.

Q5. Why won't the stereo turn on after wiring?

A: The most common culprit is power delivery. Please double-check that both the Yellow wire (Constant 12V B+) and the Red wire (Switched 12V ACC) are receiving power. Also, check the fuse on the back of the stereo and your vehicle's radio fuse.

Q6. How do I wire the included AHD 1080P Backup Camera?

A: Wiring depends on your vehicle's setup:

With a Canbus Box: Locate the brown "Reverse/Back" control wire on the main power harness. Strip a small section of the insulation (do not cut it) and splice it together with the blue wire from the camera.

Without a Canbus Box:

Splice the brown "Reverse/Back" wire with the blue wire from the camera. Then, connect the camera's red power wire directly to the positive terminal of your vehicle's reverse tail light. Cap off and insulate the black wire.

Q7. Do I need to use my phone's data for GPS navigation?

A: Not necessarily. While you can use Google Maps or Waze via CarPlay/Android Auto, this head unit also has a built-in GPS module. You can download offline maps over Wi-Fi, allowing you to navigate anywhere without needing a cellular connection.

Q8. How do I get internet access on the stereo itself?

A: You can connect the head unit to your phone's 5G/2.4GHz Wi-Fi Hotspot, or tether your data directly using a USB cable for a highly stable connection.

Q9. How do I download apps like Spotify, Waze, or YouTube on this stereo?

A: This head unit operates just like an Android tablet! Simply connect the stereo to your phone's Wi-Fi hotspot or a home Wi-Fi network, open the built-in Google Play Store, sign in with your Google account, and download your favorite navigation or entertainment apps directly to the dashboard.

Q10. My stereo says "Storage Full" when downloading apps. What should I do?

A: To keep your stereo running smoothly, we recommend only downloading essential apps directly to the unit. If you have a large library of downloaded offline maps (like Google Maps), high-res music, or videos, we highly suggest storing those media files on an external USB flash drive rather than the stereo's internal ROM memory

Q11. Which navigation apps work with Apple CarPlay on this stereo?

A: You are not limited to just Apple Maps! CarPlay seamlessly supports all the major US navigation apps, including Google Maps, Waze (great for real-time police and traffic alerts), and Sygic. For truck and SUV owners who enjoy overlanding or trail driving, it also fully supports specialized off-road GPS apps like onX Offroad and Gaia GPS.

Q12: Do I need to connect the stereo to Wi-Fi to use GPS on CarPlay?

A: No, you don't need any additional Wi-Fi or data plans for the stereo itself. When using CarPlay, the stereo acts as a smart display. All GPS location data, traffic updates, and routing are powered directly by your iPhone's cellular data.

Headrest Monitor

FAQs
Q1. Can my two kids watch different movies at the same time?

A: Yes, absolutely! Each of the two monitors runs on its own independent Android 13.0 system. This means one child can stream Disney+ cartoons on the left screen, while the other plays video games or watches YouTube on the right screen. They function completely separately, ensuring everyone stays happy with their own entertainment.

Q2. How do I sync the screens so both kids watch the same movie?

A: It’s very simple using the included HDMI Sync Cable:
Play the movie on Monitor A (the "Master" screen) via Netflix, USB, or Phone Mirroring.
Connect the cable from Monitor A's "HDMI OUT" port to Monitor B's "HDMI IN" port.
Switch Monitor B to "HDMI Mode". Now, both screens will display the exact same content synchronously with zero lag. Perfect for a shared movie night!

Q3. Can I control both monitors from the driver's seat?

A: Yes, with our Exclusive "MyCar Link" App. As a parent, you can download the app on your phone to wirelessly detect and control both screens. You can lock the screens, adjust volume, or help your toddlers switch videos without dangerously reaching behind the driver's seat. You are in full control.

Q4. Do I need two separate WiFi hotspots for them to work?

A: No. You can connect both monitors to the same WiFi hotspot (from your phone or vehicle). Thanks to the powerful Dual-Band 5G WiFi chip, both screens can stream online content smoothly at the same time without interfering with each other.

Q5. Can we use game consoles like Nintendo Switch or PS5 on both screens?

A: Yes! You have two fun options:
Individual Play: Plug a console into one monitor via HDMI Input for a solo gaming session.
Shared Play: Plug the console into Monitor A, and use the sync cable to mirror the game to Monitor B. Now both kids can watch the gameplay or play multiplayer games together on separate screens.

Q6. Can I use this monitor independently without a phone?

A: Yes! This is a standalone Android 13.0 System. Once connected to a WiFi hotspot, you can download apps like Netflix, YouTube, and Disney+ directly from the Play Store and stream content independently, just like an iPad.

Q7. If I buy another one later, can I connect them?

A: Yes, absolutely. This unit features both HDMI Input and Output. If you purchase a second unit in the future, you can connect them with an HDMI cable to sync the screens and play the same movie on both monitors simultaneously.

Q8. Does this have a battery? Can I use it without plugging it in?

A: No, it does not have a built-in battery. it requires a stable power source. However, we include both a Car Charger and a Wall Charger, so you can use it in the vehicle or indoors near an outlet.

Q9. Can I play games from my phone or console on this?

A: Yes. You have two options:
Wireless Mirroring: Use AirPlay (iOS) or Miracast (Android) to cast mobile games to the screen.
HDMI Input: Plug in a game console (Switch/PS5/Xbox) for a lag-free gaming experience on the go.

Q10. Will this fit my car's headrest?

A: It fits 98% of vehicles. The adjustable metal bracket is designed for headrests with two metal poles. The distance between the poles should be between 4.3 inches and 7 inches. It installs securely in minutes without tools.
